Travail Francais - beautifully made Art Deco solid bronze lamp. A period homage to the croissillon design by Jean-Michel Frank, most probably a one off commission. The design synonymous with the Hotel Horizonte in Mar del Plata - Argentina, one of Frank’s largest projects while creative director of the firm Comte. Of substantial weight and form, with superlative patina. Sold with bespoke shade.
Wired and tested in UK, with E27 screw fitting.
