Mixed media on canvas, signed and dated by the artist. About the artist: Born in Yamagata, Japan and a graduate from the Art University of Tokyo (Tokyo Geijutsu Daigaku), Toyota emigrated to Brazil in the late 1950s. Still a practicing artist, sculptor and designer, he worked in Milan in the 1960s and collaborated with Lucio Fontana and the vanguard of optical illusion and Kinetic artists in Italy. This was a pivotal point in his career, that initiated a journey of multi-dimensional works. More recently in 1990 he achieved best sculptor at the Art Critics of São Paulo Association (APCA).
